High Planes Taildraggers is dedicated to back country flying and events in the Rockies.
We support the community of pilots who venture into the “puckerbrush” and remote landing sites.
We are based at KCPR with pilots from surrounding airports. We seek out dirt and grass landing locations, ranches, and other opportunities in the Greater Wyoming Area. Our group of taildragger enthusiasts consists of a variety of aircraft: Kitfox 5 & 7, American Champion 8GCBC, Bellanca, Citabria, CarbonCub, Rans S7, Piper, Avid & others!
